      This letter is from the garment warehouse of Cheryl Ferrara's ancestors in Sicily dated 1929.



  Cheryl Ferrara's Great Grandmother, Francis Ferrara is on the left.  Great Grandpa Guytano Viveros is right with her grandmother Lillian Viveros in the middle.
Designer, Cheryl Ferrara comes from a long line of fashion designers in Italy. Her Great-Grandmother Francis Ferrara came over from Italy with her Great Grandfather landing on Ellis Island around the turn of the century.  She was a Milliner (hat designer) and opened a shop in NY, and then another in Chicago before she even had the right to VOTE.  Her Grandmother Lillian, who was very influential in her life, modeled the hats in Great-Grandma Ferrara’s shop in the 20’s and 30’s.
